Greater Louisville Chapter #2021
The Greater Louisville Chapter was formed in 1993 in order to promote and support ballroom dancing in the greater Louisville area. Since then, we have steadily grown. We publish a monthly newsletter which includes member news, dance related articles, as well as other interesting topics. Also included is a directory of social dancing in the area and information on special dancing events.
We hold a social dance every last Saturday of the month in the Grand Balroom of a Lodge located at 1615 Fagenbush Lane. You do not have to be a member of the Lodge in order to attend.
Light refreshments are served in a non-smoking, non-alcoholic athmosphere.
There is a thirty minute beginner/intermediate lesson at the beginning of each dance and we encourage local professional dance instructors to attend by giving them free admission.
We have excellent music provided by our own DJ. In addition, we hire well-known DJ, Jack Meinking at least twice a year.
